Carrier Gas selector

Add-on for EGA modes with atmospheric oxidation/burn

An inert gas such as helium is generally used as carrier gas (atmospheric gas) for pyrolysis GC. However, recently air is often used as a carrier gas for pyrolysis analysis in research of environmental pollution control. Theoretically, air can be used in the present devices, but it requires professional expertise and careful modification of devices.

Carrier Gas Selector Schema Carrier Gas Selector

The Carrier Gas Selector allows switching of gases such as He and air interchangeably while it is connected to the device. Combined with Py-GC, it allows flash pyrolysis of polymers in various carrier gases and evolved gas analysis up to 1050 °C in temperature program mode.

Features

  • equipped with two carrier gas ports (one is for inert gases such as He, and the other for various atmospheric gases such as Air, O2, H2, CH4 etc.)
  • instant switching of carrier gases
  • malfunction protection is integrated
  • auto switching and manual switching is possible
article order no.
