1260 Infinity II Evaporative Light Scattering Detector
High-performance detection of analytes without UV chromophores
The Agilent 1260 Infinity II Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD) is a high capability instrument and ideal for detecting analytes with no UV chromophore as it does not rely on optical absorption. As a result of 20 years experience in the design and manufacture of evaporative light scattering detectors, the 1260 Infinity II ELSD is an industry-leading higher sensitive alternative to RID and low wavelength UV. Patented gas flow technology and a heated nebulizer control minimize quantification errors and help provide outstanding reproducibility for a wide range of applications.
Features
- High sensitivity for excellent responses to all compounds down to low nanogram levels.
- Real-time gas control for uniform response across a solvent gradient that minimizes quantification errors.
- Operation up to 120 °C gives improved evaporation of difficult solvents and a better response to non-volatile compounds.
- Patented gas-flow technology allows for unrivaled response to semi-volatile compounds at ambient temperature.
- Ideal for fast LC applications due to low dispersion and high-speed data output.
- Excellent reproducibility below 2 % for reliable and accurate results.
- Full DMSO transparency keeps early eluting compounds detectable.
- Easy front access for inspection and maintenance of tubings and valves.
- Operation from built-in local user interface and Agilent LC ChemStation or Agilent EZChrom.
